Since Instagram launched it inspired mobile photographers and reached 150 Mio. uploaded photos after just 10 months – that’s 1,3 Mio. per day. Compared to Facebook’s users, who upload 2 million photos per day, it can be called a hit withouth a doubt. Now Ford Germany started a photo competition that uses the Instagram API, called Fiestagram.
The mechanic is simple:
Each week, Ford posts a challange on their Facebook page in the form of a hashtag that covers a detail or technology of the Ford Fiesta. Then just snap a shot, choose a filter, add the tags #Fiestagram and #(Weekly Challenge) and there you go. You’re in to win a brand new Fiesta.
