Crowdsourcing and Co Creation will be the next Level of UGC. Volkswagen in Canada have come with an idea to use one of their facebook fans to be the creative on the next TVC they produce.
They’ll get to pick the script, the car, the cast, add music and edit the spot. They will also be featured in the online credits. From reading some of the fan posts they also have some nice ideas…

Open on our guy driving around in his Golf.
He looks very tense and frustrated.
As he drives, he seems to calm down.
We see him cruising through the streets, the car looks great.
Eventually he pulls into the driveway of a house.
Cut to him walking through the door of the house.
There’s a girl there, his wife.
They both look at each other as if to say “I’m sorry”.
SUPER: Drive until you’re ready to talk.
SUPER: Golf.
SUPER: VW LOGO
SUPER: Das Auto.
To Roll Out VW started the campaign “Drive Until…” with 2 TVC’s
